All of Comfort Rwanda’s projects are run by its partners in Rwanda, Solace Ministries and The Living Church. Our partners identify the greatest needs, advise us of those and Comfort Rwanda decides which projects it is able to finance and support. Some of those projects are discreet and short term such as providing funds for a house, a well, a sewing project, roofing, some goats and so on. Others involve long term support.
This well at
Kabuga was financed by Comfort Rwanda and will provide
drinking water and irrigation from a solar powered
pump.
Individuals, groups or churches can take on the support
of a particular project either fully or in part. For
example a women’s fellowship raised the finance
to provide a herd of goats to a widows group and a
church plus friends is financing a two year integrated
widows support project in Bugesera.
