NAILED - A Song by "Climate Change" Inspired by Rwanda
“NAILED is a very personal song. Although forgiveness is an issue which affects us all, the song was born out of the difficulty of personal forgiveness and the need to be forgiven. I also wrote Nailed against the backdrop of the Rwandan genocide of 1994. Since then the people of Rwanda have been rebuilding their lives and their stories of healing and reconciliation are both inspiring and humbling.

The photograph at the conclusion of the video shows a woman and a man embracing. This simple and genuine act is between a widow whose husband was murdered by this man during the genocide. Such an act of forgiveness is only possible through the redeeming and life-changing power of Christ. Theirs is a witness that powerfully speaks to us all.”
