A Comfort Gift can either be an easy way for you to choose what you want the people in Rwanda to receive with your donation, or it can be given in place of a gift to a designated person such as a birthday or Christmas present.
Why Comfort Gifts ?
Comfort Rwanda has been working since 1999 to alleviate poverty and trauma in Rwanda after the 1994 genocide. By sending a Comfort Gift to someone this Christmas you will provide them with a gift that really means something special and be helping transform someone’s life in Rwanda, not just for Christmas but for good.
What happens when I buy a Comfort Gift ?
Comfort Rwanda will pass on 100% of the gift price to buy the gift. You choose the present and we send a card and certificate to your friend or loved one (or yourself!) and the money buys the gift for a widow or orphan in Rwanda.
What do I receive?
A card and certificate will be sent to the receiver of the gift, or to yourself to forward if you prefer.
Where does the money go?
Comfort Rwanda will forward the money to Rwanda to purchase the gift of your choice for those who need it most.

Under the paypal heading “instructions to merchant” please specify:
Name for gift certificate 1…
Name & address for posting…
Name for gift certificate 2… etc
Please do this even if it is your own name to go on the certificate. This will ensure the right name goes on each certificate and it gets delivered to the correct address.
