Nursery Kids perform a concert to their parents
and raise £60 for various charities including
Comfort Rwanda.
The nursery children have been looking at
children from around the world. They have been
looking at homes, clothes, food, music and
culture. We have discussed various different
countries including Africa. One of our parents
has a sister who is a missionary in Cambodia, she
has also brought in visitors from Romania and
Uganda.

The end of the topic was to include a concert for the parents. This was a chance for us to sing all our songs and wear our costumes.
We charged the parents to come and managed to raise £60.
The nursery staff looked at various charities to give the money to. They knew they wanted it to help children in one way or another. I put Comfort Rwanda on the table and asked them to look at the website. All staff agreed it was a great charity and wanted the money to go to Comfort Rwanda. It’s only a small donation but hopefully will make a difference to someones life.
