The Value of a Cow

A little insight of how just one cow from the cow
project is so valuable to the Rwandan
widows.
To provide one Friesan Cow would mean 18litres of
milk compared to 3litres of a Rwandan cow. Manure
would fertilise crops enabling a good harvest.
The family would be able to use 5litres for
themselves and sell the rest £2.50 a day, £60
monthly, this would provide income for the
children to receive an education. An education
would be a means to work which would provide an
income for the family. Morag who is very much
involved in the Cow Project has raised £1411.30
for the widows, which has been a great work
provided to see the widows lives changed from
poverty to prosperity.
