There are many survivors in Rwanda living in very poor conditions. Solace Ministries are working hard to identify as many as possible with a view to giving them the support and friendship that our SOS programme encourages. A few facts to help understand the issues some of the survivors face: Many have no shelter; some are able to sleep in family or friends’ houses and they are constantly moving

Dianna Smith heard of the work of Comfort Rwanda from a church friend who is going on a Comfort Rwanda group visit to Rwanda in July. Her immediate thought was of how she could also be a blessing to the people of Rwanda and a skydive was what she hit upon.

A little insight of how just one cow from the cow project is so valuable to the Rwandan widows.To provide one Friesan Cow would mean 18litres of milk compared to 3litres of a Rwandan cow. Manure would fertilise crops enabling a good harvest. The family would be able to use 5litres for themselves and sell the rest £2.50 a day, £60 monthly, this would provide income for the children to receive

Nursery Kids perform a concert to their parents and raise £60 for various charities including Comfort Rwanda.The nursery children have been looking at children from around the world. 5 a side Footie Tournament raises £650Power league 5 a side Complex, Townhead, Airdrie.
